Gallop for Good is an online, national day of giving led by Churchill Downs Incorporated to support Thoroughbred aftercare organizations across the United States. Taking place on June 27, this one-day fundraising campaign will bring together nonprofits, donors, and industry partners with a shared commitment to the lifelong welfare of Thoroughbred horses. Through a centralized online platform, participating organizations will have the opportunity to raise critical funds, expand their reach, and engage new supporters. Donors can easily discover and contribute to trusted aftercare programs that provide retraining, adoption, sanctuary, rehabilitation, and new careers for retired racehorses. Gallop for Good is designed to amplify impact through collective giving, while also raising awareness of the importance of responsible aftercare within the racing industry. Participating organizations will receive access to promotional resources, campaign tools, and support to help maximize their fundraising efforts. By uniting the Thoroughbred community around a single day of action, Gallop for Good aims to generate meaningful support for the organizations dedicated to ensuring that every racehorse has a safe and dignified life beyond the track.
