ReRun, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to giving retired Thoroughbred racehorses a second chance at life. Founded in 1996, ReRun is one of the nation's oldest Thoroughbred aftercare organizations and the largest rehabilitation and retraining program in New York and the Northeast. Its mission is to rehabilitate, retrain, and rehome Thoroughbreds after their racing or breeding careers end, ensuring each horse has the opportunity to thrive in a safe, fulfilling second career or a forever home.

Each year, ReRun provides individualized care to more than 130 retired racehorses, offering veterinary rehabilitation, professional retraining, and thoughtful adoption placement. The organization is committed to matching every horse with the right home, resulting in an exceptionally low adoption return rate and countless success stories in disciplines ranging from trail riding and eventing to therapeutic riding and companionship.

ReRun is a leader in Thoroughbred aftercare, promoting responsible retirement in the racing industry and educating the public about the versatility and value of off-the-track Thoroughbreds. Through innovative fundraising initiatives like the nationally recognized Moneigh program—featuring paintings of famous racehorses—ReRun raises awareness and critical funding to support the lifelong welfare of these remarkable athletes.
