Vision

VTP’s vision encompasses the education and promotion of responsible ownership throughout the entirety of a Thoroughbred’s life, instilling a deep appreciation for the breed. This includes supporting second riding careers and participating in educational and therapeutic programs.

Connections

We offer educational enrichment opportunities to local youth and community members to learn the importance of being a steward of care, respect, and growth through responsible horsemanship. We look forward to expanding our educational offerings to local youth through the Boys & Girls Club of America and Virginia community programs.

Therapeutic Programs

VTP provides a healing space for U.S. Veterans. VTP is a crucial resource, where people help horses and horses inspire healing in those who need it most. We feel honored to work with the Wounded Warrior Project while expanding our therapeutic offerings.

Our mission is two-fold, deliver unparalleled aftercare for Thoroughbred horses in Virginia while serving as a vital resource for our community members who gain a whole new perspective when interacting with these special horses.
