We are a Texas-based equine sanctuary with residents of all breeds, including donkeys, miniature horses and a mini hinny, but primarily off the track Thoroughbreds. We currently have 30 residents who will live out their days in safety and sanctuary here.
One hundred percent of donations go directly to the care of the horses, there are no paid salaries or administrative costs here at The Bridge Sanctuary.
Mission
The Bridge Sanctuary, Inc. was created to provide protection, sanctuary, care and rehabilitation to all equines, but especially Thoroughbreds.
Since our founding, we have remained determined to make an impact on the lives of abused, neglected and discarded horses. The core of our efforts is to provide rehabilitation, stability and sanctuary for the horses who successfully find safety through our gates. Our philosophy is and will always be for the betterment of the horses under our care.
We know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little compassion.
