Ten years ago, we opened our hearts and our gates to horses who had nowhere else to turn — retired racehorses in Puerto Rico and across the Caribbean who deserved more than an uncertain fate. What began as a dream rooted in compassion has grown into the region's only Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance-accredited organization, a place where broken bodies are mended, trust is rebuilt, and second chances become lifelong stories. Over the past decade, we have rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed horses who arrived frightened and forgotten, and watched them transform into beloved companions, therapy partners, and ambassadors for a cause so many people didn't know existed here. None of it has been possible without the community that rallied around us — the donors, volunteers, adopters, and friends who believed that every horse deserves a soft landing.
