$10,000 Goal

On September 14, 2012, The Foxie G Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non profit, was established to honor the memory and zest for life of a charismatic, retired racehorse named Foxie G. Our organization focuses on retired Thoroughbred racehorses and broodmares that need the most help. Injured racehorses, broodmares whose breeding days are over, slaughter bound Thoroughbreds and those in neglect situations have found a safe haven at Foxie G. Through our rescue, rehabilitation and permanent retirement programs, we provide a brighter future for horses that were often facing an uncertain one.

Equine therapy is a powerful technique that can support emotional growth, physical activity, and positive social engagement. In 2026, Foxie G will offer ground-based equine therapy, a widely used approach that involves a mental health professional, an equine specialist, the client, and the horse.

Sessions will take place in an indoor arena and will be offered year-round at the Newby Horses Helping People Center located on our farm. Foxie G will prioritize offering sessions to groups who are often overlooked and underserved such as at-risk youth, veterans and first responders.
